Payment Methods
At Meevia Nails, we want your checkout experience to be simple, secure, and convenient. The payment options available for your order will be displayed during checkout based on your location, device, currency, and selected payment provider.
Digital Wallet Payments
Digital wallets provide a quick and convenient way to complete your purchase without manually entering your full card information each time.
Depending on availability at checkout, supported digital wallet options may include:
- Shop Pay
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Available options can vary depending on your country, browser, device, and payment settings.
When using a digital wallet, you may be redirected to the provider’s secure platform to confirm your payment before returning to Meevia Nails.
Credit and Debit Card Payments
Meevia Nails may accept major credit and debit cards displayed during checkout, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
Additional card networks may appear depending on your location and the payment methods currently available through our checkout.
Before submitting your order, please check that:
- Your card number is correct
- Your card has not expired
- The billing address matches your bank records
- The security code has been entered correctly
- Your card has sufficient funds or available credit
Your order will only be confirmed after your payment has been successfully authorized.
Secure Checkout
Protecting your payment information is important to us.
Payments made through our website are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Meevia Nails does not manually receive or store your complete card number through the standard checkout process.
Some transactions may require additional verification from your bank or payment provider. You may be asked to confirm the purchase through a verification code, banking application, or another authentication method.
Orders may also be reviewed when unusual payment activity is detected. This helps protect both customers and our store from unauthorized transactions.
Payment FAQs
1. Why was I charged an international transaction fee?
Some banks apply an international transaction or currency-conversion fee when a purchase is processed outside the cardholder’s country.
This fee is determined and collected by your card issuer or bank, not by Meevia Nails.
The amount may vary depending on:
- Your bank
- The card type
- Your billing country
- The currency used at checkout
- Your bank’s foreign transaction policy
Please contact your bank directly for more information about any additional fee shown on your statement.
2. Why was my card declined?
A payment can be declined for several reasons. Common causes include:
- Incorrect card details
- Incorrect billing address
- Expired card
- Insufficient funds
- Credit limit reached
- International purchases disabled
- Online transactions disabled
- Bank security restrictions
- Failed verification
- Temporary payment network error
Please review your card and billing information carefully, then try again.
When all information appears correct but the payment still fails, contact the bank or card issuer using the number printed on the back of your card. They may need to approve the transaction before you can complete your purchase.
You may also try another available payment method shown during checkout.
3. Why do I see two charges for one order?
In some cases, one of the transactions may be a temporary authorization hold rather than a completed second charge.
An authorization hold allows the payment provider or bank to confirm that sufficient funds are available. It may appear as pending before being automatically removed.
First, check your email:
- Two order confirmation emails with different order numbers may indicate that two separate orders were placed.
- One order confirmation email usually means that only one order was successfully created.
Temporary authorization holds are controlled by the bank and may take several business days to disappear.
Contact your bank and Meevia Nails Support when both transactions remain completed rather than pending.
4. When will I be charged?
Payment is generally authorized when you complete checkout.
After successful payment confirmation, your order enters our preparation and handmade production process. Because many Meevia Nails sets are prepared by hand, production normally requires approximately 3–5 business days before shipment.
An order is not considered confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email.
5. Why is my payment still pending?
A pending payment means the transaction has not yet been fully completed or settled by the bank.
This may happen because:
- The bank is reviewing the transaction
- Additional verification is required
- A temporary authorization hold was created
- The payment provider is still processing the transaction
- The payment attempt was interrupted
Please avoid placing the same order repeatedly while a payment is still pending, as this may create multiple authorization attempts.
Check your email for an order confirmation before submitting another payment.
6. Do I have to pay import duties or taxes?
International orders may be subject to import duties, local taxes, customs charges, or handling fees when the package arrives in the destination country.
These charges depend on local customs regulations and are not the same in every country.
Unless clearly collected during checkout, import duties and customs fees are generally the customer’s responsibility. Meevia Nails does not control the amount charged by local customs authorities.
Please contact your local customs office for information about possible charges before ordering.
7. What currency will I be charged in?
The currency shown during checkout is the currency submitted for payment.
Your bank may convert the transaction into your account’s local currency. When currency conversion is required, the exchange rate and any related conversion fee are determined by the card issuer or payment provider.
The final amount appearing on your bank statement may therefore differ slightly from the amount displayed on our website.
8. What should I do if I did not receive an order confirmation?
After completing payment, please check:
- Your main inbox
- Spam or junk folder
- Promotions folder
- The email address entered during checkout
A pending bank transaction alone does not always mean that an order was successfully submitted.
Contact our support team when you have been charged but have not received an order confirmation. Please include:
- Your full name
- Email used during checkout
- Approximate order time
- Charged amount
- Last four digits of the payment card
For your security, never send your full card number or card security code by email.
